Lord From Sorrows Deep I Call (Psalm 42)

Many songs that we sing as the church are focused on praising God for the good that He has done in our lives and for how great and awesome He is. However, even in the Psalms, David cries out in sorrow during the trials that he endures. As believers, we can know that God is our Help and our Rock, and we can praise Him even when trials abound. The song Lord from Sorrows Deep I Call (Psalm 42) is based on David’s Psalm written in a time of great distress. We will be introducing this song on September 1 at Rosemont, and we hope this will be a song of encouragement to us as God is always our shelter even when our soul is troubled.
